Preschool Enrichment

Young Minds provides a unique preschool experience for children ages 2 1/2 - 4. Our classes are semi-private with no more than 5 children attending 2 or 3 classes per week. We have 4 program options:

· 3-day, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays:

1) Early a.m.: 8:30 – 11:00

2) Late a.m.: 11:30 – 2:00

· 2-day, Tuesdays and Thursdays:

1) Early a.m.: 8:30 – 11:00

2) Late a.m.: 11:30 – 2:00

With our ratio of two teachers for each group of five students, we create a calm, nurturing environment that encourages the growth of each individual student to their full potential.

With the planned implementation of Ontario's new full-day Kindergarten, our enrichment programs will help our students make a smooth transition to the rigors of full-day instruction by emphasizing:

· Becoming confident decision-makers

· The development of our students' fine motor skills

· Individual social and academic growth

We believe in the benefits of an integrated curriculum where literacy, numeracy and the arts are tied together and students can apply what they learn to their day-to-day life. All early AM classes will include a hearty snack and all late AM classes will include a light lunch.

At Young Minds, your child will be participating in a wide variety of fun and creative activities, including music and dance, sand and water play, arts and crafts, read-alouds, drama and puppets, active play and community walks.
