Young Minds

In the Classroom

Young Minds Educational Services brings creative, dynamic music and drama workshops into everyday elementary classrooms and child care centres. They are meant to supplement and complement existing arts programming as set out by the Ontario Curriculum. Through the arts, our fully interactive workshops foster creative expression, social and emotional development, and early literacy skills. We believe that music and drama enriches all students' daily learning and our unique programming encourages participation, allowing students to learn by becoming performers themselves! Classroom teachers will gain concrete tools to further music and drama education in their own class and integrate the arts across the curriculum.

Our programs are developed to fulfill the Ontario curriculum expectations for the arts and all workshops are designed and run by Ontario Certified Teachers (OCT).
